My prayers are with the entire Matthews family, and with my fellow classmates in the U-City High School Class of '83 and the entire U-City Alums who will miss Tamiko terribly. This world has lost a kind soul for NO reason. Tamiko, you are sorely missed already.

My prayers for comfort and strength to the Matthews and Merriwether families. Tamiko was my classmate and friend. She always had a kind word, but she would get you told if needed-lol!! She and Marietta are now resting after winning the race. They are far, far better off than those of us left here. Their memories will live on through us all. Our GOD is faithful. It was a blessing knowing Tamiko. Angel Face, you will be missed. Please know my prayers are with you all.

You were the funniest and realist person at JMBC. You kept me laughing. We had our little back and forth banter at church whenever we saw each other. You were such a genuine and sweet spirit. You didn't sing you "SANG!" Now you can sing with the angels. May GOD make your transition easy. Get your rest now. You are with the comforter. Your friend C. Smith
