Ronald ( Godson ) Lawrence. I met Cecil in 1962 playing baseball with his fathers team in the projects. We met again when Cecil moved out west. I enjoyed wrestling, football, skating, and so much more with Cecil. We were friends forever, Gonna miss you buddy.
I met Cecil at Vashon High School in 1962. We were proud to be the last class of the old Vashon High School on Laclede before becoming Harris Teacher College in 1963. Cecil and I met again at Soldan High where we graduated in 1966. Cecil was always a great, great guy. We played baseball together and roller skated together .He will truly be missed, He and my wife loved to bop together at class reunions, I could bop but not as smooth as Cecil, Cecil was smooth. 63 years of friendship, will miss you big guy.
