My sweet Auntie Faye, you’ve always been such a big part and a bright light in my life from a little girl into adulthood. We grew even closer over the last few years when I started doing your nails. You’d always be fussing and telling me how to do my job 😆 or me fussing at you to let me try a new color or design…it seldomly worked. We laughed and shared so many memories of the past and plans of what the future held. Our last day spent together was us doing our usual; nails, goodwill (or the boutique as you called it)😄, and we’d grab a bite to eat. I never imagined our time would be cut so…

It was an honor to know Evelyn and to be able to call her family, so much so that her name lives on not only through her daughter, but also through my daughter that carries the same middle name as Evelyn. I pray for strength for her loved ones, family and friends. I encourage all to remember her smile, her laugh and the good times you shared with her. Heaven has a few angels waiting to embrace her again. Two that I know for sure is Roger, and my father, she called him Jimmy. God bless.
