I was an orphan till I started my job at Alvarado. Jeffrey was the first person I was introduced to. What a free spirit and fierce soul. He held and exuded so much life ....... it was a shock for me to hear that he is now not amongst us. I know as a fact that his fierce soul is "indeed" resting in peace. Jeffrey was one of a kind, a true friend to so so many. He always made me feel uplifted when I saw him. He would stop what he was doing, say my name with open arms...His hugs were the absolute best. I worked with Jeffrey for over 20 years, never once did I hear him complain, or shy away from helping to get a patient. He lifted/transported people like it was easy, very hard working. His kind heart and soft ways put all patients at ease. Patients always remebered Jeffrey. He was like the Mayor of Alvarado Hospital knowing everyones name and friends with everybody. Jeffrey was classy, always dressed with style for get togethers or holiday parties. …
