Michael was such a kind hearted, genuine, funny, and patient person. He was a great friend, and loved his family and friends. He always looked forward to when his family came to visit. He had a passion for home do-it-yourself projects and building things, and was really good at it. He also really enjoyed collecting different types of plants and making tutorials about them. He has a YouTube channel for them called theplantedeye.

His life story was always a treat to hear when he would tell it, because he was such a well rounded person there was always a surprise you would hear. I’d say things like - Wait you used to sing?

My sincere condolences and prayers to the Stallings Family. Michael Durrell was a great friend and he will be missed. I'm thankful to God for allowing him to make such an impact on his friends and family. RIH Heaven Durrell, and as a believer in the Almighty God, we will meet again!
