William A.K A Shenky was awesome person , whose smile can brighten up any room. He always had some encouraging words and a positive attitude . He will sadly be missed , but I know he is up in heaven sitting at the throne of God. Fly high my fellow viking you have earned it.

I first worked with William when he just first started working, he was only 16 years old at National at Bel Acres. We worked so good together and he was great to work with! He always put a smile on your face. When Schnucks bought National, I asked him again to come work with me at Delmar and Kingshighway and he did. There’s more stories I can tell you about his work ethic but everyone knows William!! I know you’re in heaven!!

My deepest condolences to the family of William Martin. I worked with William at Schnucks for short time and let me tell you, everyone knew when he was in the building! His laughter radiated throughout and could not help but make you smile. He spoke to everyone and never met a stranger. The customers loved him because he greeted each one with a smile, a friendly “hello”, and a handshake or “dap”. My God give you strength through this difficult time and give you peace as you keep his memories in your heart.
