Deepest sympathy to Ricks amazing wife Janet and family.
My friend got into a fight.
It wasn’t a fight anyone would choose but one he could not refuse.
My friend was a lover not a fighter and it was because of that love he made his stand. He fought for his wife and kids, his grandkids, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, for his friends and associates and for his mom. He had no experience, this was the farthest thing from his mind, but he learned through research and consultation as well as the hard knocks of experience, how to prepare himself for this fight. And fight he did! With an ever-present twinkle in his eye and infectious smile he faced his adversary. Undaunted by the relentless efforts …
Rick, a very good friend, and brother-in-law was always very kind, generous, and helpful, whether with his words of wisdom, his valuable time, or just being supportive of what you were trying to accomplish. He really did have a very full life, overflowing with love of his family, numerous long-lasting friendships along the way, and a variety of exciting journeys covering many miles across the country. I really wish his time with us could have lasted even longer, and we could have spent more time with him, but Rick will always be on the go in our memories of him. He will be dearly missed.
